Fourth of July parade The Round Top community has celebrated the Fourth of July every year since 1851. In fact, it's known as the longest running Fourth of July celebration west of the Mississippi. The rest of the year, Round Top boasts an impressive population of 91 souls, many of German and Czech origin. But on the Fourth of July, our neighbors from Houston, Austin, San Antonio and everywhere in between travel into Round Top for a taste of an old-time, small-town Fourth.

Free concert!
Image of Trumpet Enjoy the toe-tapping strains of an authentic German Brass Band! Blasmusik Texas, the Texas All-State German Band travels to the Round Top Rifle Hall on Saturday, August 3rd. Come and enjoy the free concert – and kick up your heels to a rousing polka refrain! The Hall opens at 4:00 pm for social hour and a German meal will be available in the kitchen at 5:00. Round Top Rifle Association Hall

The historic Round Top Rifle Hall is available for special events!
Planning a wedding, family reunion, or other special event? The spacious RTRA Hall is perfect!

 • 7,000 square feet of climate controlled interior space
• 2,400 square feet of covered pavillion space
• 4.5 acres of tent/parking space
• Kitchen/bar facilities
